Raj is an MBA Intern on Serent’s Growth Team, where he supports value creation initiatives across the firm’s portfolio companies. He is currently pursuing an MBA at Stanford Graduate School of Business. Raj previously earned a B.A. with Honors in Economics and Computer Science from Claremont McKenna College, graduating Phi Beta Kappa.

Prior to Serent, Raj was Chief of Staff to the CEO & Head of Finance at Snappr, an AI-powered marketplace with 300 employees, where he led company-wide financial, growth, and operational strategy. Earlier in his career, Raj worked across entrepreneurship, technology, and finance — including co-founding digital consultancy Pacific Horizon Media, developing go-to-market strategy at BYTON Electric Vehicles, and leading research at the Financial Economics Institute.

In addition to his professional experience, Raj was appointed by the Governor of California to advise the State on executive policy, legislation, and budget affecting California’s twelve million youth. He also founded and runs a California-based nonprofit that has supported community members with meals and donations for over a decade.

Outside of work, Raj has traveled around the world twice, on two fifty-day trips modeled after the classic “Around the World” voyages that fascinated him as a kid, with a third already in the works. Closer to home, he is happiest in an escape room or over a board game, and was once globally ranked in Catan.
