Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, Omar supports financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning initiatives.

Prior to Serent, Omar was with C.M. Capital Advisors, where he managed fund accounting and operations, led workflow automation efforts, and developed advanced financial models to support investment decisions. He also held multiple finance roles at Cisco, including product finance and FP&A, where he led financial forecasting, P&L analysis, and executive-level reporting for a $6B product portfolio. Omar earned a B.S. in Finance from San Jose State University.

Omar is a loyal Liverpool fan who wakes up early every weekend to watch Premier League soccer and enjoys staying active through soccer and workouts, traveling the world, and sharing coffee with family and friends.
