Karter specializes in Talent Operations on Serent’s Human Capital team, including people analytics, systems, and operational enablement.
Prior to Serent, Karter worked on the People Analytics team at Synopsys, where he led global HR transformation initiatives and managed the Visier analytics platform. He previously held people analytics roles at Wayfair, supporting the CPO and VP-level stakeholders with talent insights, workforce planning, and engagement strategies. Karter began his career at the University of Iowa, where he analyzed institutional data to support student success and retention. He earned a B.B.A. in Business Analytics and Information Systems from the University of Iowa.
Karter is an avid cyclist who commutes on his bike to the Austin office. Every July, he takes a week off to ride across his home state of Iowa.
