Julie focuses on deal origination and qualification, as well as developing investment themes and intermediary relationships.
Prior to joining Serent, Julie was an investment professional at Averin and Toba Capital, where she was responsible for sourcing and executing investments across software, consumer retail, healthcare, and tech-enabled services and supporting portfolio companies on growth strategy and M&A initiatives. Julie earned a B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Johns Hopkins University and an M.S. in Metabolic Biology from Columbia University.
Julie grew up as a competitive figure skater and is originally from Michigan. She enjoys skiing out west, discovering new music, horseback riding, photography, and checking more countries off her bucket list.
