Emerson partners with board members and management teams at Serent portfolio companies to identify executive talent needs, recruit leaders into key roles, and implement human capital strategies.

Prior to joining Serent, Emerson led executive searches for international pharmaceutical companies and venture-backed biotech at Russell Reynolds Associates. Emerson joined Russell Reynolds Associates from the Gerson Lehrman Group, where she led a research team specializing in healthcare-related diligence projects on behalf of leading management consulting and professional service firms. She holds a B.S. in Human & Organizational Development with a focus in International Leadership Development and a Minor in Biology from Vanderbilt University.

Emerson is passionate about history and travel, especially exploring ancient sites (the more Neolithic, the better!). She enjoys reading, trail jogging, hot yoga, quilting, and finding great dive bars around Austin with friends.
