Associate

Alex is an Investment Associate on Serent’s Investing Team, where he supports sourcing, diligence, and value creation initiatives.

Prior to Serent, Alex was a Corporate Development Associate at Colibri Group, a Gridiron Capital portfolio company, where he supported numerous M&A transactions across the education and healthcare sectors. His work included financial modeling, investment deck creation, due diligence across multiple workstreams, and presenting acquisition rationales to executive leadership. He led diligence on Colibri’s largest acquisition to date in healthcare education. Alex earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, where he was also a varsity swimmer.

Alex is a Packers fan from Minnesota who loves water sports, scuba diving, walking his dogs, and exploring cocktail bars.
