Daniel Zajda

Daniel oversees Serent Capital’s People strategy, organizational effectiveness, and talent initiatives.
Prior to Serent, Daniel was Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Platinum Equity, overseeing HR compliance, employee relations, and investor talent acquisition. He previously served as Vice President on the People Team at TCV, where he led talent strategy, compensation design, and organizational development. Earlier in his career, Daniel held HR leadership roles at ByteDance (TikTok), Samsung Electronics America, and Deloitte Consulting. He began his career in employment law. Daniel earned a B.A. in Economics and Psychology from the University of California, Davis, a J.D. from Penn State Law, and an MBA and MILR from Cornell University.
Daniel’s favorite daily ritual is attempting to make the perfect latte from his pull lever machine espresso machine. He loves skiing, discovering the best burger in every town he visits, and exploring new destinations. He feels happiest spending time with his family and his dog, Tuck.
