Matt focuses on deal origination and qualification, as well as developing investment themes and intermediary relationships.
Prior to joining Serent, Matt was a Corporate Development Associate at EverCommerce (NASDAQ: EVCM), a software portfolio company in the SMB services space. At EverCommerce, he was responsible for identifying, sourcing, & building relationships with companies in vertical B2B SaaS industries with a focus on payments.
Matt has a B.S. in Corporate Finance & Accounting from Appalachian State University, where he graduated cum laude.
Matt is a certified Wilderness EMT and PADI Open Water Diver who loves surfing in Costa Rica, snowboarding out west, backpacking national parks, and enjoying great food in Austin.
