Alison Och

As Vice President at Serent Capital, Alison is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, managing business due diligence processes, and supporting Serent's portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Serent Capital, Alison was an investment professional at Maycomb Capital, an impact investing fund based in Brooklyn, NY. In this role, Alison led sourcing, transaction structuring, diligence, and portfolio management for public-private partnerships (Pay for Success transactions) primarily focused in the sectors of education and workforce development. As the first employee after the Fund’s founder, Alison worked on all aspects of fund launch including fundraising and business operations and strategy. She began her career as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs, advising clients in the Consumer Retail and Healthcare sectors.

Alison holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating magna cum laude from the Wharton School with a B.S. in Economics (with concentrations in Finance and Social Impact & Responsibility).
