Oliver Weir

Associate

As an Associate at Serent Capital, Oliver is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, managing business due diligence processes, and supporting Serent’s portfolio companies.

Before joining Serent, Oliver was Chief of Staff to the Founder and CEO of Canopy, a high-growth, bootstrapped software company in Atlanta, GA. In this role, he led go-to-market strategy and execution, directed marketing operations, and implemented various initiatives in product development, customer success, and financial reporting. Oliver began his career at Bain & Company as a management consultant, where he worked with private equity funds to evaluate investment opportunities and develop portfolio growth strategies, with a focus on technology and software sectors. Oliver holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Oliver previously served as Chief of Staff at a software company and enjoys trail running, skiing, coffee dates, Georgia Tech football, and international travel.
